January FFA Meeting

Business Portion:

During the official business portion of the meeting, officers presented the following topics.

  • San Angelo Information
  • Quote of Month: "The comeback is always stronger than the setback”

Activities

 After the meeting was adjourned, members stayed at their tables to play two rounds of icebreaker bingo. After that the officers split members into two teams for a snowball fight where members played a dodgeball like game, which ended up being every man for themselves. Then members competed tournament style in a game of balloon hockey! As the meeting came to an end, the winners received candy. Finally, members were encouraged to take photos in front of the winter backdrop and send them into the officer team for the end of year photo album and website.

Activities

After the meeting was adjourned, the officers split members into four teams for a snowman challenge where members turned one another into the wildest snowmans around. Then members competed within their groups doing the Plastic Wrap Challenge! Special thanks to the officer team for donating gift cards to Whataburger or Chick-fil-a for the center of every plastic puzzle! As the meeting came to an end, the winners of the closest guess to how many candies were in each jar at the beginning of the meeting took their prizes too! And finally, members were encouraged to take photos in front of the holiday backdrop and send them into the officer team for the end of year photo album and website.

Activities

After the meeting was adjourned, the officers split members into two groups for the annual cake walk and the Turkey Obstacle Course Relay Race. Special thanks to Secretary Anna Dattola for the extra desserts! The cake walk was a success and even included FFA Advisor Mrs. Stockard in the winners circle. In the relay race, Advisor, Baylen Bullard led his team to victory along with Vice President, Kayce Lopez. Lastly, members were encouraged to take photos in front of the fall backdrop and send them into the officer team for the end of year photo album and website.

Activities:

 After the meeting was adjourned, the officers led members into our voting process for our annual costume contest. The winner was our very own President Mackenzie Holt and Committee Chair Hailey Lee, as cows, along with guide dog in training Ruthie as a farmer. After that our Treasurer, Heather Nacarato and our Secretary, Anna Dattola led members into the next activity, Pumpkin Bowling. Each team of suits split up and tried to earn the most points. The Hearts team, led by Reporter, Julia Dwyer, and Committee Chair, Karsen Smoot, won with 105 points and earned first choice for candy. Lastly, members were encouraged to take photos in front of the Halloween backdrop and send them in to their officer team for the end of year photo album and website.
