Dr. Karen Rue, a distinguished leader in education, had been in education for 29 years molding notable students. She served Northwest ISD for 11 years as the superintendent and the leader of our innovative and forward thinking district. Dr. Rue had always had an inborn fondness of the FFA and Agricultural programs.  Each year a distinguished sophomore will be recognized by the award bearing Dr. Rue’s name.
